In our world today, many things we do promote eye strain. Television, videos, and computers cause eye strain to individuals of all age groups. Few Remedies that have been used to cure this problem: People need to take a break and if at all possible close their eyes for a few minutes. If you are doing a large amount of readying than you should try to refocus on something else every thirty minutes for about three minutes. Working with a project that is close up uses a muscle that causes the eye to contract, when shifting your use of your eyes to other distances for even a couple of minutes it gives the muscle in your eyes a break. Take time out for a Tea Break: Try using a product called eyebright tea. This is a gentle balm used on strained eyes. It is a mixture of several herbal materials that can be bought at most health food shops. Take a small towel; soak it in Eyebright Tea, than place the warm towel over your eyes while your laying down with your eyes closed. This towel should be left on at a min. ten to fifteen minutes. If your eyes are hurting change focus, than blink several times and try squinting with a gentle massage of the eye lids for a couple of minutes. Take time for eye exercises. Take your finger and follow it with your eyes, forming a circle as well as doing it from close up and as far away from your face that you possibly can. This changes the muscle use and will relieve the eyestrain. Last but not least, take Black Tea bags and heat them up, making a couple cups of Black tea for your taste. Then use the Black tea bags on your closed eyes. It should feel refreshing.

July 4th is noted for picnics and fireworks. Families and friends from near and far gather together to enjoy themselves as they relax and kick back to watch the skies light up to the wondrous colors that make a lot of noise and sparkle, twinkle, whistle and pop as the night goes on. As the picnics are being prepared one thing that has to be considered is what everyone is going to be drinking. Some families buy lots of pop, but we have found that everyone enjoys a good refreshing drink of Ice Cold Tea. Tea has become a main ingredient in our July 4th party. We have many types of recipe drinks on ways that Tea can be made. We offered the children recently the choice between kool-aid or tea and the children took no time at all to speak up and say they wanted Tea. I prefer to drink my tea just plain with lots of ice. The children and younger couples use different things to enjoy their tea, but none the less, they love the good ole fashion drink of Tea. Some of the children like tea with a little sweetener, while others prefer to have some mint added. Recently the children were introduced to a couple of new Tea recipes and they are so happy. They act like they do at Christmas time with a new gift. The favorite is this drink Iced Chocolatea Steep one teacup (about 6 ounces) of Gunpowder green tea using twice as much tea as usual. During the three minutes or so while the tea is steeping, mix together in a small bowl or cup one heaping teaspoonful of cocoa powder -- I prefer Dorset’s -- and two spoonfuls of sugar. [Note: Use a flatware teaspoon, not a measuring teaspoon. Substitute equivalent amount of your favorite sweetener.] Stir in enough cold water to make a thin paste. Remove tea leaves and pour steeped tea into a tall glass or mug. Stir cocoa paste in well, then fill the glass to 3/4 full with cold water and stir again. Add ice cubes and enjoy!
Some other iced and hot tea ideas:
Make maple-vanilla iced tea by sweetening green tea with real maple syrup and stirring in a dash of real vanilla extract. Steep a 50/50 combination of Fanciest Formosa Oolong and Ti Kuan Yin oolong teas. Serve straight or sweeten lightly for a very pleasant "oolong" tea, hot or iced. Add a little fresh or dried mint or other herbs to the tea leaves as they steep. Stir some rice milk or almond milk into your tea for a creamy taste and texture. Mix plain iced tea with about half as much fruit juice. Try cranberry or pineapple, or a tropical blend. Sweeten to taste. Refreshing! Plain iced tea mixed with an equal amount of prepared lemonade is the most refreshing summer cooler! Sweeten to taste. Blend two or more juice flavors with tea for a "Carmen Miranda" tea, hot or cold. Also try fruit syrups or natural flavorings. Pour the juice, syrup, or flavoring into the cup or glass, then add the tea and stir well. Freeze some prepared iced tea in ice cube trays, and use in place of plain water ice cubes, which dilute your iced tea. For additional flavor, also try ice cubes made with lemonade or fruit juice.
NOTE:Do not replace Doctor recommended advice, nor do we know if this works or if it does not work. I would in my personal life possibly try it, as long as my doctor knew I was doing so because I would not want this to cause problems with other medications. If it would not mess up or replace the doctor's advise I would not see any harm in trying it.
Tea is the number one beverage world-wide. It has been around for many years. In fact, tea has been used for many purposes for many years. Although it has been used by people many years ago for its health benefits, scientists have just begun to look into the Benefits. Do not let yourself be misguided as there really are health benefits, but too many people are jumping on the band wagon trying to get rich over Tea. Be very careful as the name Tea is getting tossed onto items that are not really tea at all. Let’s get to know our drink, “Tea.” The true tea has only four true types. Those four types are: Black, Green, White, Oolong. Although many people purchase Herbal tea, it truly is not tea at all. Herbal tea is truly called “tisane.” Another product that has been called tea is Red Rooibos Tea. This is not tea either, in fact this comes from the Camellia plant. Do not let me discourage you on drinking those types of drinks because Scientists are still busy researching the benefits of those drinks. Those brands have been known to calm and relaxation effects. Tea is a wonderful drink and could help many people if they consume the right amounts of tea. The one thing to keep in mind is that this has all been looked at as a Caffeine drink not Decaffeinated. One cup holds 40% mg Caffeine compared to 85 % in Coffee. Tomorrow I will share with you about some of the things scientists believe that tea does truly help with. We will talk a little more in depth about the different teas, also.

On December 16, of 1773 on a cold winter night one hundred and sixteen people gathered together to hear Samuel Adams denounce the Governor for not allowing ships to leave the docks loaded. At this time at least fifty men with some of these men dressed as Indians went to a place called Griffin’s Wharf, climbed aboard the ships to dump ninety thousand pounds of tea into the Boston Harbor. This act is called and known by many as the Boston Tea Party. On this night only one man was arrested over this act of dumping the tea into the harbor, this man’s name is Griffin's Wharf. The Boston Tea Party was the beginning of what American Revolutionary war. Some of you might even remember the saying, “Taxation without Representation.”
Years ago,The Boston Tea Party became a part of our American History. Now many years later, people are now starting to understand just how benefical drinking tea is to the human body. Tea has formed a statement as the number one international beverage drink enjoyed by many both hot and cold.
This morning I woke up with the idea of starting a blog. Once I decided to start a blog, it took no time at all to decide what to blog about. Tea had to be my main topic. However, to name a blog just, “Tea” was not a good name at all. So I decided to take a few minutes to think about it. I went to the kitchen and grabbed myself a cup of tea. Soon I was sitting in front of my computer sipping on tea as I looked through different backgrounds. I searched and searched for the perfect template. It is one of those things that you will only know which one is right for you when you finally see it. I think it is like a wedding, a woman knows when she found the right one and a man knows when he finds the right truck. Once I finally found it and set it up as the template for my blogging of Tea. By this time my tea was in need of a refill. I grabbed my cup and headed to the kitchen. As I began to pour my tea I was thinking about my blogs title. At that moment it hit me, “Tea Time.” I found the name for this blog, it had to be Tea Time and nothing else would fit. As soon as I sat down, I began to change the name of the blog from what the template name was. It was final, Tea Time had it own place online. So grab yourself a cup of Tea, come sit down and get comfortable as you read about many things, slowly sipping and enjoying a hot cup of tasty tea.
