On December 16, of 1773 on a cold winter night one hundred and sixteen people gathered together to hear Samuel Adams denounce the Governor for not allowing ships to leave the docks loaded. At this time at least fifty men with some of these men dressed as Indians went to a place called Griffin’s Wharf, climbed aboard the ships to dump ninety thousand pounds of tea into the Boston Harbor. This act is called and known by many as the Boston Tea Party. On this night only one man was arrested over this act of dumping the tea into the harbor, this man’s name is Griffin's Wharf. The Boston Tea Party was the beginning of what American Revolutionary war. Some of you might even remember the saying, “Taxation without Representation.”

Years ago,The Boston Tea Party became a part of our American History. Now many years later, people are now starting to understand just how benefical drinking tea is to the human body. Tea has formed a statement as the number one international beverage drink enjoyed by many both hot and cold.
